JOB DESCRIPTION: PAINT SERVERS
THIS POSITION PAYS $10 PER HOUR

We are looking for an honest, ENERGETIC, detail oriented, smart, hard worker who can follow specific instructions without constant repetion. Server experience is a must OR experience from other Paint Your Own Pottery studios

Days for work / 20-24 hours per week* on average.

• Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as schedules may rotate
• Some Mondays & Tuesdays to cover private events
• Available on-call for activities or to cover shifts. This availability is very important
• Assist in Private Events, groups reservations, workshops, Team Building events, etc.
• Server experience

Tasks – divided between other employee(s)

• Serve customers materials for art activities, serve beverages
• Serve during Neon Parties
• Give customers an intro/greeting, and explain some instructions for the activities, able to give customer feedback on their artwork
• Assist with new inventory on delivery days; lifting boxes, setting up on shelves, etc.
• Inventory of various items
• Maintain the studio, storage room organized, bars, cabinets organized
• Dipping ceramics, loading/unloading kilns and notifying clients
• Refill the art materials, i.e. paints, etc.
• Opening and/or closing the studio when necessary
• Coming up with creative ideas, workshops, decorations, creating or painting samples, taking photos or videos for social media, etc.
• Respond to customers that call, text or send whatsapp messages

Cleaning – divided between other employee(s)

• Clean up after customers
• Sweeping/mopping
• Refill the cleaning agents
• Clean tables, counters, sinks
• Clean/dry/organize paint brushes, bins and pallets
• Clean after workshops
• Take out garbage
• Maintain your assigned areas

Requirements

• Must be able to pick up 25LBS +
• Able to bend, stand and walk full shifts
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
• Energetic, team player, detail oriented, and follow specific instructions
• Server experience is a must OR experience from other Paint Your Own Pottery studios
• Ceramics handling or glass experience is a plus
• Bilingual in english and spanish
