JOB DESCRIPTION: WEEKEND PAINT SERVER (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $10.50 per hour
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays | 16 hours/week or more

Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Weekend Paint Server. This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-energy, creative environments and enjoys working with groups and events. This position focuses on weekend shifts only, but also covering when others are out or on vacation, and assisting during special events like Silent Painting Neon Parties and private groups/events.

Key Responsibilities:

🖌️ Customer Service & Event Hosting

• Set up and break down for events such as Neon Parties, workshops, and private group sessions.
• Greet guests, explain activities, and provide materials and feedback during creative sessions.
• Serve beverages, refill paint and water buckets, and support a fun, engaging atmosphere.

🎨 Studio Support

• Keep the studio clean and organized—wipe down tables, sweep/mop floors, wash paintbrushes and materials.
• Assist with inventory restocking and general studio upkeep.

🔥 Ceramics & Kiln (Training Provided)

• Help dip ceramics and assist with basic kiln loading/unloading tasks if needed.

📸 Creative Contributions

• Help prepare samples, take photos/videos for social media, and brainstorm event ideas.

📞 Communication & Support

• Help respond to customer questions during your shift and assist with opening/closing if needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food/beverage service or in a Paint-Your-Own Pottery studio.
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs, standing/bending during shifts).
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
• Team-oriented, organized, and upbeat!
• Must be available every Saturday and Sunday.
